After years of dreaming of having a performance space of its own, the Maine State Ballet has finally made that dream a reality.  In July of 2007, the curtain went up on the company’s new in-house theater, which includes a 50 foot stage and seating for an audience of 120.  The Maine State Ballet company will continue to expand its repertoire and to bring audiences many more enjoyable performances.

The Maine State Ballet Theater celebrated its grand opening Friday, August 3, 2007 which featured two premieres one act ballets for the company, Firebird and Paquita.
