The mission of Maine State Ballet is to enrich the Maine community through education, outreach and expanded enjoyment of dance and the performing arts.  We can not possibly achieve this without YOU!

In fact, this year Maine State Ballet needs your financial support more than ever. Here is why your support is so critical.

•  Revenues from dance class tuition & ticket sales only cover 74% of our annual costs
• The benefits of our building are enormous, but the monthly obligations are equally colossal

With your help over the past two years, Maine State Ballet has offered:

• over $25,000 in tuition scholarships for deserving students
• expanded dance programs including classes for children with Down syndrome
• a series of lecture demonstrations in public schools exposing over 500 students to dance as an art form
• a series of sold out performances in our in-house theater making dance affordable and accessible to over 3,000 members of our community
• the lifetime skills of self awareness, confidence and dedication to our dancers
