In the past few years, Maine State Ballet and its affiliate School for the Performing Arts have successfully:

• Taught ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, ballroom, adaptive movement, Zumba and pilates to over 500 students
  
  
• Offered 30+ family oriented dance performances at a reasonable cost in its in-house theater – most shows are sold out!
  
  
• Staged shows and numerous outreach efforts for 2,500 school children
  
  
• Created a place for students to learn and perform while developing the skills of self-confidence, self-awareness and dedication.
