While parents and guardians should use their discretion based on the maturity level of their children, Maine State Ballet recommends that children be at least 3 years of age to attend performances. Please note that some productions are more geared for older dance audiences. When determining if your child should attend a performance, it is important that the child be able to sit quietly and not disrupt the performance for other patrons. All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
