Meet the Dancer

Q: What is your favorite ballet role and why?
A: Odile/Odette in Swan Lake. I believe this is the most technically difficult and challenging role in ballet. It takes inspiring deification and commitment to the art form to master this role. I hope one day I have the chance to take on this role!
Q: What is your ballet shoe of choice?
A: Out of all the various pointe brands I’ve tried, Russian Pointe has been my favorite.
Q: What are your educational/career goals?
A: Post High School I plan on becoming a veterinarian while continuing to dance. I plan to get a BS in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I love to cook, go out for coffee, and take care of my many pets at home.
Q: Anything else you would like people to know about you?
A: I played every sport imaginable when I was younger, and my soccer coach said I have a very bright future in the sport. However, the experience of performing as a soldier in MSB’s Nutcracker made me quit soccer (and Irish Step dancing) and start ballet. I was a late starter, but it quickly became my passion.
