Maine State Ballet presents our 46th Nutcracker live at Portland’s Merrill Auditorium from November 25th through December 4th. Under the direction of Artistic Director and former New York City Ballet member Linda MacArthur Miele, The Nutcracker features the classic story of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince with glorious sets and dazzling costumes by Gail Csoboth. Returning this year accompanying this annual family holiday production will be music by the Maine State Ballet Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Karla M. Kelley Brenner.
