
Young Dancer -
Students Ages 4-Entering Grade 2*
Monday - Wednesday; June 23-25
and/or June 30-July 2 (Mornings 9-11:30am)
Created for our youngest students, this three-day workshop offers aspiring young dancers an introduction to or continuation of ballet, tap, jazz, and singing. Students may register for one or both sessions. $155/session.
*Participants must be age 4 by the first day of your workshop week. No prior training is required.

Sample Class Schedule/Performance

Classes include ballet technique and may include a combination of tap and/or jazz with singing. Tap Shoes not required (if you own some you may bring them).
Wednesday performance at 10:30am.
Tuition includes 2 complimentary tickets to performance.
What To Bring
Water bottle and snack. Tap shoes are not required but you may bring them if you own some (your class may or may not tap). Dance attire is pictured below or top of page. Leotards, tights, dance shoes and some accessories sold at the Maine State Ballet Boutique.

Summer Workshop Registration Changes & Cancellation Policy

Maine State Ballet strives to remain flexible for families while responsibly planning staffing, studio space, and resources for our summer programs.

Registration and Cancellation Changes

Any changes to your registration including cancellations are permitted at no charge prior to June 15, 2026, subject to availability.

After June 15, 2026, week changes may still be accommodated if space allows but will be subject to a $50 non-refundable administrative fee.

Cancellations made on or after June 15, 2026 will be subject to a $50 non-refundable administrative fee per registration. The remaining balance will be refunded or credited to the family’s account.

Special Circumstances

The administrative fee may be waived at the discretion of Maine State Ballet in cases of documented illness, injury, or family emergency.​​
