
Maine State Ballet presents the beloved tale of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they journey through the Land of Sweets to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy.

New Artistic Director and longtime company dancer Janet Davis stages the production, featuring choreography by New York City Ballet’s George Balanchine and Resident Choreographer Linda MacArthur Miele. Costumes and scenery are designed by Gail Csoboth, with Robert Lehmann returning as conductor of the Maine State Ballet Orchestra and Choir.​
